 Cabernet Sauvignon a black grape variety and is one of the world’s most widely accepted red wine grape varieties. It became internationally recognized through its prominent success in Bordeaux wines. Despite of its prominence in the industry, the grape is a relatively new variety. Cabernet Sauvignon is the product of a chance crossing between Cabernet franc and Sauvignon blanc during the 17th century in southwestern France.
